NWLL is very grateful to our generous sponsors who fund our league year-after-year and enable us to provide outstanding services and support to our players during the season. These include a professional commissioner to ensure the integrity of every pre-season activity and regular season game, an intern to support daily operations during the pre-season and regular season, a league van, new caps and jerseys, summer trips and camp, art sculptures, flower gardens, office space at Chicago Hope, plus all the day-to-day equipment, supplies and utilities. All donations go towards these operational expenses.

NWLL is a non-profit and all-volunteer organization that is funded by our nominal $40 (as of 2017) fees, team sponsors, and private donations as listed below. We are deeply indebted for the strong civic and community support of former Mayor Daley and his Department of Planning and Development, Aldermen Dan Solis (25th), (former Alderman) Bob Fioretti (2nd), Walter Burnett (27th), and (former Alderman) Ed Smith (28th), the Chicago Park District and Superintendent Tim Mitchell, Chicago Hope Academy, and Dr. Ken Schmidt, Former President of the Illinois Medical District.

NWLL does not turn away a child if he or she cannot pay, and we charge a minimal amount to be a part of the league. Our desire is to keep the league affordable for the youth of Chicago.
